However, recent years have brought a series of mysterious disappearances among residents and tourists, leading to a mass exodus from this once-vibrant town. Now, in October 1981, Aurora Hills stands as a mere shadow of its former self. The prosperity it once enjoyed has all but vanished.

Your role as a park ranger is crucial as you delve into the unsettling disappearances that have plagued the town. Unravel the mysteries that have haunted residents for years: Why has there been a surge in vanishings over the past half-year? What has caused the complete absence of any trace of those who disappeared? And above all, who – or what – could be at the heart of these unsettling events? It falls upon you to journey into the depths of the national park and unveil the enigmas of Aurora Hills...

Developed by the creators of Meridian 157, Aurora Hills: Chapter 1 marks the inauguration of a series of point-and-click puzzle adventure games. Set in 1981 within a small West Virginian community, this installment follows the narrative of Ethan Hill, a park ranger assigned to investigate peculiar disappearances in the region. Traverse the rolling hills of West Virginia, uncover clues regarding the missing persons' whereabouts, and tackle intricate puzzles to solve the riddle of Aurora Hills!
